The screenplay, penned by Michael Lesslie after revising an earlier draft by Aaron Rabin and Zach Dean, follows the May 2023 release of "Fast X," which ended on a cliffhanger featuring Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson. Louis Leterrier, known for directing "The Transporter" and "The Incredible Hulk," will helm the upcoming movie, scheduled for a March 17, 2028 theatrical release.
