Violent street takeovers spark fires and looting in Los Angeles neighborhoods

Minutes earlier, a separate takeover in East Los Angeles saw participants break into an AutoZone at 1131 S. Atlantic Boulevard, stealing over $50,000 in auto parts and three cash registers.
Video from the scene showed shattered glass, scattered merchandise and dozens of tire skid marks surrounding the store, which will stay shut for the time being. Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Sheriff's Department officers responded to both events, but no arrests have been confirmed.
