Viture unveils ultra-light Pro 2 smartglasses and compact Mobile Dock Mini
Viture introduced the $299 Pro 2 smartglasses, its lightest model yet, alongside a $99 Mobile Dock Mini for easier device connectivity.
Celebrating five years in business, Viture released two new products aimed at improving the comfort and usability of its smartglasses. The flagship Viture Pro 2, priced at $299, is the company's lightest model at 63 grams, making it 16 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than the original Pro. It features enhanced temple padding, adjustable nose pads, a standard lens shade, and UltraClarity 3.0 technology that boosts peak brightness to 1,600 nits and uses a smoother field curvature to lessen eye strain.
Additional upgrades include a per-eye diopter adjustment from 0 to -5.00 D, a larger 50-degree field of view, and the same 1920 × 1080 per-eye resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Complementing the glasses, the $99 Mobile Dock Mini weighs roughly 250 grams, is 34 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than its predecessor, and houses a 10,000 mAh battery. It supports the Switch 2 and includes a detachable magnetic adapter that can function as a standalone hub for TV or monitor connections. Both items are available directly from Viture, and purchasing them together saves $20, bringing the combined cost to $378.
