Warner Music Group Elevates Tom Corson to Chief Operating Officer

Warner Music Group confirmed Tom Corson's elevation to chief operating officer, a step up from his co-chairman and COO duties at Warner Records. In his new capacity, Corson will answer to CEO Robert Kyncl and work alongside Warner Records co-chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck as the company navigates a period of transformation. Corson, who joined Warner Records in 2018, has overseen operations and commercial development for artists such as Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dua Lipa and Benson Boone.

The announcement also noted that CFO and COO Armin Zerza is departing immediately for personal reasons, with Lou Dickler, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, assuming acting CFO responsibilities while a search for a permanent replacement proceeds. Both executives expressed gratitude for the contributions of their departing colleagues and optimism about the company's future direction.
