West Ham United target AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott for summer move

West Ham United are reportedly pursuing AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott ahead of the upcoming transfer window. Nuno Espirito Santo, who is looking to reinforce the team, has identified the Republic of Ireland international as a priority target. Parrott recorded 16 goals in 28 league games for the Dutch side last season and added 15 more across other competitions, bringing his tally to 51 in 95 appearances for Alkmaar.

Besides West Ham, clubs including Como, PSV Eindhoven, Real Betis and Ajax have shown interest, though AZ may reject offers from domestic rivals. With three years left on his contract, the player could command a fee near £25 million, and Tottenham will receive a 20 percent sell-on share. Fulham also promises immediate Premier League football, which could influence the final decision.
