Amid AMC Theatres’ highest-ever revenue surge, the White House released a video that imitates Nicole Kidman’s well-known theater spot. Using the same orchestral soundtrack, the AI-crafted clip begins with a puddle reflecting the White House and a man wearing a MAGA hat, echoing the original’s magical theme. The narration swaps “magic” for a proclamation of MAGA, and the figure walks into the White House past a portrait of Trump after an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Scenes of Trump signing executive orders, speaking at rallies, and meeting foreign leaders play before a final card proclaiming “MAGA: Welcome to the Golden Age.” The White House incorporated the AMC logo in the title card. Variety’s outreach to Kidman, AMC Theatres and screenwriter Billy Ray yielded no responses.
