Wispr Flow signals upcoming AI meeting notetaker in revised service terms

Wispr Flow announced changes to its Terms of Service and privacy policy that introduce a meeting notetaker feature. The service will ingest meeting audio, participant information, speaker labels and other metadata, then generate AI-crafted transcripts, concise summaries, actionable items and analytical insights. By adding this capability, Wispr Flow aims to compete with established notetaking solutions like Granola, Fireflies, Read AI, Otter and Fathom.

Co-founder Tanay Kothari has spoken about creating an AI assistant, and the new tool could give the company deeper user context and broader automation options. To date, Wispr Flow has secured more than $81 million in financing, giving it a $700 million valuation, and one outlet reported that a new funding round could raise its worth to $2 billion. The firm did not comment further on the upcoming launch.
