Xiaomi unveils SkyNomad N90 Max EV with ultra-long range and modular cabin
Xiaomi introduced the SkyNomad N90 Max, an electric SUV boasting over 1,700 km of range and a reconfigurable interior, including a camping variant.
Xiaomi's latest foray into electric mobility is the SkyNomad N90 Max, an SUV equipped with an extended-range powertrain that the company says can travel more than 1,705 km on a single charge. The model is offered in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations, and a dedicated Camping Edition includes a pop-up roof, a rooftop bed platform, a tent-attachment point and a detachable table, with some versions adding a refrigerator and ceiling speakers.
The cabin is highly adaptable: front seats rotate a full 180 degrees, the center armrest extends into a small table, and the second-row seats provide zero-gravity positioning with integrated footrests. Xiaomi markets the vehicle as a mobile living space, describing it as a “studio for one, a cafe for two, a lounge for three, a playground for the whole family.” Alongside the N90 Max, the company also launched the smaller SkyNomad N70 and N70 Max, which seat five but use the same extended-range platform.
Why it matters
The launch shows Xiaomi expanding into the EV market with a vehicle that blends long range and versatile interior design.
