Yogi Adityanath says no saint linked to Ram Temple donation probe

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the first report submitted by the Special Investigation Team did not identify any sadhu or saint as participants in the alleged theft of donations intended for the Ram Temple. He asserted that the investigation's outcome should dispel rumors linking religious persons to the scandal. At the same time, he charged the Samajwadi Party and the Congress with using the issue to malign Uttar Pradesh and mislead the public.

The comments were delivered during a press briefing in New Delhi. The case remains under investigation, with the SIT tasked with probing the financial irregularities. Yogi's statements aim to shift focus from religious speculation to political motives behind the allegations.
