They identified inflation, a tight housing market and high energy costs as drivers of economic frustration that could make some young people consider democratic socialism. Despite these pressures, speakers such as Courtney Graves advocated for free-market solutions as the means to achieve home ownership and stable jobs.

Attendees also praised President Donald Trump for providing clearer accountability than the prior administration, while noting concerns about immigration policy, border security and the societal impact of artificial intelligence. The event highlighted the Republican Party’s need to refine its messaging to resonate with younger voters as both parties vie for influence in the upcoming congressional elections.
