Zach Johnson clinches inaugural Portugal Invitational by two strokes over Stewart Cink and Padraig Harrington

Zach Johnson secured victory at the inaugural Portugal Invitational, held at The Els Club in Vilamoura, by posting a seven-under-par final round and finishing at 19 under par. He held off Stewart Cink, the Champions Tour money-list leader, and Padraig Harrington, the 2026 US Senior Open champion, who both finished two strokes back. The tournament, hosted by four-time major winner Ernie Els on his redesigned Algarve course, attracted a star-studded senior field.

Miguel Angel Jimenez recorded the second-best round of the day, while Justin Leonard closed with a 65 to finish ten under. Jamie Donaldson surged early but a double-bogey on the 16th ended his contention, and Colin Montgomerie improved his standing with a four-under final round. The $3 million event marked the first PGA Tour Champions competition in Portugal.
