Beyond medical prospects, Ramesh showed the gel can serve as an effective heat sink and exhibited superior electrical conductivity compared with some commercial alternatives. He also leads his school’s rocketry team and founded the nonprofit Cognitive Connections, which supports senior care visits and dementia research. The work exemplifies how accessible technology enables young innovators to explore advanced material science previously limited to high-end labs.
