23-Year-Old Woman Killed by Shower Head Electrocution in Antequera

At 3:10 pm on Monday, 5 October, 112 Andalucía received an alert about an unconscious individual in a home on Calle San Pedro, near the parish church in Antequera. Responding units, including National Police, Local Police and emergency medical teams, arrived to find a 23-year-old woman who had been electrocuted by the shower head, resulting in her death. Preliminary police statements suggest the dwelling might have been connected to the electricity supply without proper authorization, though no definitive link to the shock has been confirmed.

A 45-year-old woman present at the location was treated for a suspected anxiety episode. The scene remained sealed off as investigators examined the premises and gathered evidence.
