44 rescued after flash flood hits JB kindergarten

JOHOR BARU: Forty-four people, including 37 children and seven teachers, were evacuated after flash floods hit Tadika & Taska Umiku Sayang in Jalan Muhd Amin. The Fire and Rescue Department said 10 personnel from the Larkin Fire and Rescue Station arrived at 4. 14pm, about 21 minutes after receiving a distress call, and launched a rescue operation using a volunteer boat.
