49ers sign former Raiders running back Zamir White as free agent
The San Francisco 49ers have added ex-Raider running back Zamir White to their roster after he went unsigned this offseason.
On Thursday the San Francisco 49ers confirmed they have signed running back Zamir White, who previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders. White was selected in the fourth round (122 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia and spent his first four years with the Raiders. After the 2023 season he filled in for the injured Josh Jacobs, posting a 4.7-yard per-carry average across four games.
The Raiders did not re-sign him this offseason, and his 2024 campaign never gained momentum, resulting in limited snaps over ten games in two seasons. Now a free agent, White hopes the 49ers' system will give him a chance to produce.
