5-hour Energy rolls out new mocktail recipes featuring its latest flavors
5-hour Energy has introduced a series of non-alcoholic cocktail recipes built around its newest flavors, debuting the collection at a Dry January event in New York.
At a Dry January gathering held at New York’s Pebble Bar, 5-hour Energy presented a full suite of mocktail recipes that incorporate its latest flavor releases—Cotton Candy, Fruity Rainbow and Confetti Craze. Tim Sweeney, the bar’s beverage director, mixed drinks like a Cotton Candy Spritz with non-alcoholic sparkling wine, a Strawberry Rainbow Lemonade featuring ginger and Seedlip Garden, and a Confetti Cake Break that blends coconut, pineapple and orange juices.
The brand’s current portfolio now spans candy-themed options such as Jelly Donut and Boston Cream Donut, as well as seasonal offerings like Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Spice. This initiative arrives as the non-alcoholic market gains momentum, with figures such as Tom Holland, Katy Perry, Bella Hadid and Lewis Hamilton launching their own alcohol-free brands. Rather than removing alcohol from existing drinks, 5-hour Energy is positioning its alertness-focused shots as a cocktail-hour ingredient, reflecting an expanding flavor strategy throughout 2026.
Why it matters
The launch shows how energy-shot makers are tapping into the growing demand for sophisticated non-alcoholic beverages.
