Cath Bowie, a 78-year-old resident of Aberdeen, discovered Fortnite by accident in 2017 while visiting her teenage grandson’s bedroom. After initially playing on his console, she purchased her own system and launched a Twitch channel called “grumpygran1948,” quickly amassing over 24,000 followers. The Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2027 has officially named her the oldest female Fortnite streamer on the platform.
