A.J. Brown leaves Patriots debut after leg injury in Seattle game

Wide receiver A.J. Brown exited the Patriots' season-opening loss to Seattle in the third quarter after sustaining a lower-leg injury.

Brown, a three-time Pro Bowler, was taken off the field in the third period of the Patriots' first game of the year against the Seahawks. He had three catches for 26 yards before the injury. The incident occurred when Seattle cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett collided with him while breaking up a pass. After X-rays, Brown was listed as questionable and then ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
