Aaron Sorkin’s Bold New Tan Steals Spotlight at London Film Gala
Aaron Sorkin arrived at the London screening of The Social Reckoning, prompting a wave of online commentary about his striking tan.
At the London gala for his new film The Social Reckoning, Aaron Sorkin wore a gray suit, white shirt, warm gray tie, brown leather shoes and tortoise-frame glasses, but his most talked-about feature was a dramatically dark tan. Photos with co-stars Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White spread across social platforms, where users ridiculed the hue, suggesting he’d been sunbathing or using a spray tan, and offered playful monikers like “Aaron Sore-skin.”
Some observers compared the color to President Donald Trump’s complexion. Although the sequel tackles events such as the January 6 Capitol riot, Sorkin said that Trump would not appear in the movie to avoid distraction. This is not the first time the writer has displayed a bronzed look on a red carpet, but fans noted this tan to be his most extreme yet.
