AC Milan overturns early deficit to beat Manchester United 4-2 in Wroclaw
Manchester United lost 4-2 to AC Milan in a pre-season friendly in Wroclaw after conceding four goals in the second half.
In the final warm-up game before the Premier League season, Manchester United fell 4-2 to AC Milan at Stadion Miejski in Wroclaw, Poland. Harry Maguire gave United an early lead from a corner, but Milan levelled when Goncalo Ramos set up Samuel Chukwueze for a tap-in. Bruno Fernandes saw his penalty saved, and United reclaimed the advantage after Patrick Dorgu pounced on a poor back-pass.
Milan then struck three times - Alphadjo Cisse headed in at the far post, Ramos nodded home from a Chukwueze cross, and Loftus-Cheek finished after a run down the right - overturning the result. The game also featured Lisandro Martinez’s gradual return, Kobbie Mainoo’s comeback, and Marcus Rashford’s first appearance in 20 months.
