Accenture targets mid-single-digit growth, aims for higher expansion by FY29 with AI push
Accenture said it will pursue mid-single-digit revenue growth for the next two years and accelerate to high-single-digit growth by FY29, driven by AI services.
During an investor-day event, Accenture chairperson and CEO Julie Sweet presented a three-year outlook that targets mid-single-digit revenue growth in constant currency for the next two years, with an ambition to reach high-single-digit growth from FY29 onward. Sweet emphasized that AI services are expected to offset broader industry revenue pressures and generate new demand that exceeds any displacement caused by automation.
The company now employs 110,000 AI and data professionals, up from 40,000, and has undertaken 18,000 AI projects in the past four years. She also credited recent strategic acquisitions for expanding the firm’s market reach, deepening functional skills, and opening new sectors. Accenture’s latest quarterly results beat analyst expectations, lifting sentiment across the IT services sector.
