Acer unveils smaller Predator Atlas 7 handheld gaming device at IFA

At the IFA exhibition in Berlin, Acer announced the Predator Atlas 7, a reduced-size handheld gaming PC that retains the flagship specs of the earlier Atlas 8. The 7-inch 16:9 FHD touchscreen delivers 120 Hz refresh rates and 500 nits brightness, shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Powered by an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and capable of Intel Arc B390 graphics, it supports up to 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, backed by an 80 Wh battery that keeps the unit under 750 grams; a 60 Wh variant weighs under 700 grams.

The device includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD reader, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a dual-fan cooling system. Buyers receive two months of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, after which subscription fees apply. Availability is slated for North America in the fourth quarter of 2026 and for EMEA starting in November, with pricing yet to be disclosed. Acer also showcased an 8-inch Project DualPlay Mini concept that can switch between handheld gaming and a laptop-like productivity mode.
