ADGM reports AI-focused assets surpass $100 billion as expansion accelerates
Abu Dhabi’s financial hub ADGM says AI-related investments now exceed $100 billion, prompting a major office-space expansion.
The Abu Dhabi Global Market announced that entities licensed there hold more than $100 billion in AI-centric funds. MGX, the region’s largest tech vehicle, closed its inaugural fund at $49 billion in July. ADGM’s workforce grew 34% to about 50,000, while assets under management rose 54% year-on-year. Firms such as Bain Capital, Blue Owl Capital and Man Group have expanded operations in the centre, and a large-scale development led by Aldar and Mubadala is under way.
