Adit Singh moves from Foundation Capital to become Mayfield's infrastructure partner
Former Foundation Capital partner Adit Singh has joined Mayfield as an infrastructure partner, focusing on hardware and AI-related investments.
Adit Singh, previously a partner at Foundation Capital where he co-led the first round for Cerebras, announced his new role as an infrastructure partner at Mayfield. His move follows the creation of Neotribe Ventures and a four-year tenure at Cota Capital. Singh highlighted Mayfield’s leading semiconductor holdings, such as Upscale AI and Lumilens, as a key draw.
He also cited the firm’s $3 billion under management, which allows seed checks as large as $20 million. Mayfield Managing Partner Navin Chaddha, who has known Singh for 15 years and shared board seats at Upscale AI and Velaura AI, said the partnership took time to finalize. Singh plans to invest across hardware, infrastructure software, cybersecurity, and physical AI, leveraging his chip-design background.
