Adobe integrates its creative suite with Slack's AI chatbot for seamless workflow
Adobe announced that its suite of creative and productivity apps can now be accessed directly through Slack's AI bot, Slackbot.
Adobe revealed that more than 70 of its applications, including Firefly, Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock, and Lightroom, are now reachable via Slack's AI assistant, Slackbot. Users can type natural-language requests, and the bot selects the correct Adobe tool, leveraging conversation context to produce PDFs, graphics, or video content. The feature also permits pulling assets from prior campaigns or the Creative Cloud library for in-chat editing.
Initially, the service is limited to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ customers. This move follows Adobe's earlier rollout for ChatGPT and a forthcoming Gemini integration, reflecting a broader trend of embedding creative software into conversational AI platforms. Deepti Pradeep, senior director for Agentic AI at Adobe, highlighted that customers value the time savings and outcome-focused workflow this integration provides.
Why it matters
It lets teams create and edit visual content without leaving their messaging platform, boosting productivity.
