Adobe Premiere mobile finally arrives for Android users

Adobe announced that its Premiere mobile video-editing app is now available for Android, expanding the platform that first launched on iOS more than a year earlier. The Android version can be installed from Google Play on devices with Android 13 or newer and a minimum of 5 GB RAM. Users receive the core editing suite at no cost, allowing them to split, trim, crop, adjust speed, add text, effects and voice-over tracks, and to export an unlimited number of 4K videos without watermarks.

For those who want generative AI tools—such as AI-generated sound effects and assets from Adobe Firefly—credits must be bought in-app, and additional cloud storage is also purchasable. Adobe indicated that future updates will bring Adobe Fonts, improved captioning and a smoother workflow with Premiere desktop. The rollout marks Adobe’s effort to broaden its mobile editing ecosystem across major mobile operating systems.
