Afghan cyclist Fariba Hashimi earns Asian Games silver after training in disguise

The 23-year-old trained while disguised as a man after facing stone attacks and strict Taliban limits on women’s sports. She said the win feels “something special” and wants it to encourage other Afghan girls. Her sister Yulduz also helped her early training years.
