Aggressive gray animal attacks three people in Lebanon, N.H., prompting wildlife alert

In Lebanon, New Hampshire, an unusually aggressive gray animal has been linked to three separate attacks within a two-day span. Witnesses say the creature resembles a gray fox or a fisher, and surveillance footage shows it sprinting toward two men in a parking lot, snatching a bag and targeting a man's feet before being kicked away. Police believe the same animal is responsible for all incidents and are working with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department to determine its health status, including the possibility of rabies.

Police Chief Phillip Roberts emphasized the danger of bites or scratches and urged anyone bitten to clean the wound and seek medical care. Authorities have instructed locals, workers, and visitors to stay clear of any wild animal acting unusually aggressive and to report sightings to police or Fish and Game.
