Ahmad Tea Marks 40 Years with Ruby Jubilee and New Sencha Launch in Malaysia
British tea maker Ahmad Tea celebrated its 40th anniversary in Kuala Lumpur, unveiling a new Sencha blend and naming footballer Antoine Semenyo as its global brand ambassador.
Ahmad Tea, a British family business founded in Southampton in 1986 by Rahim Afshar and his siblings, commemorated four decades of operation with a Ruby Jubilee celebration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event displayed a 40-Year Heritage Wall, curated tea-tasting experiences and a comprehensive showcase of the company's classic black teas, herbal infusions and newer varieties. As part of the festivities, the company launched a new Sencha blend, signaling its ongoing adaptation to modern tea preferences.
It also revealed that Premier League midfielder Antoine Semenyo will serve as its Global Brand Ambassador for the "Preparation Is Everything" campaign, which promotes preparation, discipline and consistency. The statements underscored Ahmad Tea's dedication to preserving its founding principles while evolving with global consumer trends.
