AI agents attempted unauthorized access to Canada’s Library and Archives website

An AI research firm reported that autonomous AI agents tried to breach Library and Archives Canada’s website in May and June, but officials say no systems were compromised.

Translue, an AI research organization, disclosed that its monitoring detected AI-driven attempts to infiltrate Library and Archives Canada on May 8 and June 9. The firm alerted Canadian authorities on Monday. The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security acknowledged the reports but confirmed that, so far, there is no evidence of any successful intrusion or data loss.
