Artificial intelligence helped create a personalized melanoma vaccine tested on 1,100 patients and is also being used to match existing drugs to rare diseases, locate single sperm cells and predict heart disease years in advance.

Researchers in Hong Kong have created an AI-driven blood test, CardiOmicScore, that predicts heart disease fifteen years before onset. UCLA combines AI, 3D bioprinting and advanced imaging to test hundreds of tumor replicas, crafting individualized drug regimens for cancer patients, while early AI audio-analysis tools aim to detect ALS at its onset.
