Northbound drivers are to exit at J57 Barton Interchange, follow the A66M to Blackwell roundabout, then continue via the A67, B6280, B6279, and finally re-enter the A1M at J58 Burtree Interchange.
Southbound traffic must leave the motorway at J58, travel through the A68, B6279, B6280, and A67 before looping back onto the A66M and rejoining the A1M at J57. The detailed signage uses solid diamond symbols for northbound and solid square symbols for southbound diversions.
