Airport worker seriously injured after French Bee plane mishap at Montreal Trudeau

Around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, emergency responders were dispatched to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport following an accident on the tarmac involving a French Bee aircraft scheduled to depart for Paris. The collision injured an airport employee, whose wounds were described by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal as serious, and the individual was transported to a hospital. Radio-Canada reported the incident occurred shortly before the plane’s take-off, after the flight had been postponed from the prior Sunday.

Airport authorities indicated that normal operations remain in place but advised passengers to verify their flight status with airlines. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada acknowledged the occurrence and is fielding media inquiries. No further details on the cause were released.
