AJ Bell Great Scottish Run unveils new finisher T-shirt inspired by Glasgow landmarks
Organisers have revealed the 2026 finisher T-shirt design for the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run, featuring motifs from Glasgow’s architecture and cultural heritage.
The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run has launched its 2026 finisher T-shirt, a design that weaves together iconic Glasgow symbols such as the steel geometry of the Squinty Bridge, flowing forms reminiscent of the River Clyde, and arch shapes celebrating the McLennan Arch in Glasgow Green. Rose patterns throughout the graphic pay tribute to the city’s Charles Rennie Mackintosh legacy. The event, set for October 3 and 4, anticipates a record-breaking field of about 35,000 runners.
Four-time Olympian Eilish McColgan and fundraiser Craig Ferguson will start the 10k and half-marathon races. Junior and Mini races will open on Saturday at a new Glasgow Green venue, followed by the main city-centre courses on Sunday.
