Alexis Mac Allister expresses disappointment after Liverpool declines contract renewal

He learned of the decision through his agent and expressed deep disappointment, especially after seeing teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai secure long-term deals earlier this summer. Addressing the media at Kirkby before the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, Mac Allister stressed that he could have pursued a move this summer but chose to stay and continue giving 100 per cent for Liverpool.
He reassured fans that he will keep performing at his best until his contract expires, while acknowledging that any change will depend on his performances and the club's future stance. The midfielder emphasized that the fans need not worry about his dedication despite the contract uncertainty.
