In a recent post, Alice Marie Johnson warned that scammers are misrepresenting themselves as representatives of her or her office and that no fees are ever required for pardon or clemency services. Johnson, a former inmate whose life sentence was commuted by Donald Trump after Kim Kardashian’s advocacy, singled out Angela Stanton King, a senior adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as a prominent figure making such false claims.
King, who manages the pro-life organization Auntie Angie’s House, promotes the site pardonprocess.com, describing it as a trusted route to second chances and charging a $60 background check to start the process. The website also features a photo of King, who received a Trump pardon in 2020 for a 2004 federal conspiracy conviction. Recently, King praised the Department of Justice’s plan to open an application system for restoring firearm rights to non-violent offenders, directing followers to the same website for help. Johnson did not comment further, and King declined to respond to inquiries.
