Alicia Vikander Chooses to Experience The Echo Chamber First at Venice

Alicia Vikander said she will hold off on seeing the final edit of Andrea Pallaoro’s fourth film, The Echo Chamber, until it premieres at the Venice Film Festival, valuing the special Lido venue. She described the movie as a “terrifying” exploration of a love story set in a non-linear timeline, starring herself as Anne opposite Luca Marinelli’s Leo, with Susan Sarandon in a supporting role. Vikander recalled meeting Pallaoro at the Marrakech Film Festival and praised his focus on space and performance.

While on a sailing trip in Spain, she contracted a mild illness from her children but remains enthusiastic about the project and her upcoming Netflix series based on Enigma Variations. She emphasized the importance of brave, poetic filmmaking and looks forward to the Venice screening as a unique cinematic experience.
