During the fifth week of his NSW Supreme Court trial, former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon described a series of errands, meals and a brief surgery after the alleged killings of TV presenter Jess Baird and partner Luke Davies.
In the fifth week of the NSW Supreme Court trial, former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon recounted his movements after the alleged February 19, 2024 killings of TV presenter Jess Baird and Qantas host Luke Davies. He entered Baird's inner-city home disguised as an Uber Eats rider, later asserting that his firearm fired twice, killing Baird and prompting Davies to shoot himself. Prosecutors allege he shot Baird execution-style and then shot Davies through a bedroom door.
Over the next two days, CCTV captured Lamarre-Condon purchasing surfboard bags, visiting Bunnings, and transporting the victims' bodies in those bags before washing blood from the backyard. He also attended a sushi dinner, walked along Cronulla promenade, and underwent a brief surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital. A friend, identified as Elizabeth Kennedy, testified that Lamarre-Condon drove her to a farm in Bungonia where he attempted to sink the bodies in a dam, then left her at the gate without explanation. The trial continues.
