Alleged murderer claims he’ll be framed as missing men case unfolds
Beau Lamarre-Condon told a friend he expected to be set up over two missing men while denying murder charges in a Sydney trial.
In a trial at the NSW Supreme Court, Beau Lamarre-Condon, accused of murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in February 2024, told friend Stacey Parker he feared being set up over two missing individuals. Parker testified that Lamarre-Condon said detectives had visited his mother’s home and that he was being framed. He also recounted Lamarre-Condon’s request to have a phone, allegedly containing stolen police Covid files, turned on, switched off and thrown into the ocean.
Earlier testimony revealed Lamarre-Condon used Baird’s phone to create a false impression that the victim was alive and traveling to Perth. The case also highlighted Lamarre-Condon’s fascination with celebrities, citing past attempts to meet Pitbull and encounters with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. He maintains a not-guilty plea, arguing self-defence. The jury continues to assess the evidence.
