Almeria mother receives 47-year sentence for exploiting young daughters

In a ruling by the Provincial Court of Almeria, a mother was handed a cumulative 47-year prison term for using her five- and nine-year-old daughters to arrange sexual encounters with unidentified men between 2021 and 2022. She received 18 years for two counts of sexual exploitation and an additional 29 years for two sexual assault offenses, with a maximum custodial limit of 20 years under the Criminal Code. The court emphasized the victims' vulnerability and the mother's position of authority, while acquitting her romantic partner for lack of concrete evidence.

Supporting evidence included the older daughter's credible testimony, pediatric reports, and a psychological assessment by the Márgenes y Vínculos foundation. Beyond imprisonment, the mother lost parental rights, was fined, sentenced to ten years of supervised release, barred from contacting the girls for 35 years, and ordered to pay €60,000 to each child.
