Amazon Prime to debut new Melania docuseries after earlier film release

Marc Beckman and director Brett Ratner have hinted at a forthcoming Melania docuseries on Amazon Prime, though the streaming giant has not confirmed details.

Senior advisor Marc Beckman revealed that a Melania docuseries is slated for release this fall on Real America’s Voice, promising a "total different experience" that will showcase parts of the First Lady not previously seen. Director Brett Ratner echoed the announcement on Instagram, expressing eagerness to share the next two chapters and tagging both Muse Films and New Element Media, indicating that members of the original creative team remain involved.

Amazon has not responded to requests for confirmation or comment, and neither Beckman nor Ratner offered additional details when approached. The new episodes could contain the bonus footage that was originally promised alongside the March 9 Amazon Prime documentary but was omitted at launch. The film, which cost roughly $75 million and earned $16.6 million at the box office, initially topped Amazon Prime’s streaming charts, though overall streaming performance remains undisclosed. Jeff Bezos defended the partnership as a sound business decision, dismissing criticism as unfounded.

Why it matters

The upcoming series could reshape public perception of the First Lady and reflects Amazon's ongoing investment in high-profile political documentaries.
