Amazon's Bee brand unveils two new AI wearables starting at $75

Bee, Amazon's personal AI wearable unit, introduced the Frontier wrist/clip device and the Eclipse magnetic smartphone accessory, priced from $74.99.

Bee, the AI wearable subsidiary acquired by Amazon last year, launched its next-generation Frontier device, which can be worn on the wrist or clipped to apparel, alongside the Eclipse, a credit-card-sized module that magnetically adheres to a smartphone. The Frontier is offered in Onyx, Lavender and Sage at $74.99, while the Eclipse comes in four colors for $99.99. Both gadgets record conversations in real time, delete raw audio, and encrypt transcripts with device-generated keys, ensuring that only the user can access the data.

Free features include conversation summaries and a two-week memory buffer; the $11.99-per-month Bee Pro subscription unlocks unlimited summaries, Amazon and Alexa integrations, suggested tasks, daily memories and a chat assistant. Additional capabilities let users link the devices to productivity suites, health apps and photo uploads, while the Frontier provides IP67 water resistance, up to seven days of battery life and USB-C charging.

Why it matters

The new, lower-priced AI wearables expand Amazon's foothold in personal productivity tech.
