Amber Alert issued for four children allegedly taken by their mother in Reseda
Police have launched an Amber Alert for four children who vanished from a Reseda home after being taken by their mother, who was under a court order not to move them.
An Amber Alert was activated Tuesday evening after four children disappeared from a home near the 6600 block of Reseda Boulevard in Southern California. The children—Anas Mirova (9), Zuhal Mirzoda (5), Maryam Mirova (2) and Rayana Mirova (1)—were last observed at about 5:10 p.m. on Saturday leaving the house with their mother, Mehrangez Sangalieva, who is 31 years old. A court order had prohibited Sangalieva from taking the children out of the residence while authorities investigated.
The alert, issued by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department, notes that Sangalieva may be traveling in a gray 2011 Toyota Prius bearing the plate 6SWK678. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the LAPD West Valley Division or submit anonymous tips to L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers.
