Anonymous Content appoints veteran Steve Shikiya as chief operating officer

Anonymous Content confirmed the hiring of Steve Shikiya to serve as its chief operating officer, a position that will report directly to President and CEO Darren Walker. In his new capacity, Shikiya will oversee the company’s day-to-day business functions, including finance, corporate development, business affairs and human resources. Walker praised Shikiya’s career helping ambitious independent companies grow while maintaining their unique culture, noting his financial expertise and experience with complex transactions.

Shikiya arrives with more than three decades of executive experience, most recently as chief financial officer of North Road Company and previously as chief operating officer of Imagine Entertainment. His résumé also includes deputy COO duties at Endemol Shine North America, dual COO/CFO roles at Shine Group North America, and senior leadership positions at 20th Century Fox, MGM Studios, Launch Media, Universal Studios and The Walt Disney Company, after starting his career at Arthur Andersen LLP. Shikiya expressed enthusiasm about contributing to Anonymous Content’s next phase of growth.
