Anthropic disclosed a net loss of more than $80 billion for the first six months, a sharp increase from the $13 billion loss recorded in the same period a year earlier. The bulk of the loss, about $72 billion, stemmed from accounting charges linked to changes in the value of convertible notes and other funding instruments. The figures were revealed in a draft IPO prospectus. The company has not responded to requests for comment.
