Anthropic to integrate official US voting data into Claude before midterms
Anthropic announced it will embed official US voting information from Democracy Works into its Claude chatbot later this month, ahead of the November midterm elections.
The AI firm Anthropic said it will add verified voting data supplied by the nonprofit Democracy Works to its Claude conversational AI platform before the upcoming midterms. The move aims to make Claude a more useful resource for political discussions while curbing potential election-related misuse. Anthropic noted that political and policy topics already represent about 5.75 % of all chats on its consumer app Claude.ai.
