Antigravity cuts entry price for A1 drone with new watch-and-ring kit
Antigravity now offers the A1 drone for $799 in the US by replacing the FPV headset with a wristwatch and ring controller.
Antigravity has introduced a revised A1 drone package that costs $799 in the United States, cutting the price roughly in half by substituting the FPV goggles and motion controller with a wristwatch and a ring. The smartwatch displays a swipeable view of the drone’s camera feed, allows users to launch the aircraft with a button press, and offers quick-shot selections as well as manual sliders for forward, backward, ascent and descent control.
The ring acts as an extra button for one-handed launch and repositioning. Reviewers noted that the drone follows and films the user automatically, dodging many obstacles, but it still crashes on power lines, thin branches and when altitude limits are exceeded. Antigravity also includes full-coverage propeller guards in the kit, and existing owners can buy the watch for $340, the ring for $340 and the guards for $40, with a 20 % discount for proven owners.
Why it matters
The lower-cost kit makes autonomous drone filming more accessible to casual users.
