At a dinner honoring three generations of activists in Bangi, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim warned that a nation driven by anger would become crippled, arguing that knowledge should underpin its strength. He recalled the teachings of the late Ustaz Fadzil Noor, who emphasized that the Islamic cause succeeds through informed awareness and a sense of duty rather than mere sentiment. Anwar stressed that discussions about the "Madani nation" must be anchored in knowledge to lay a solid foundation for national resilience.

The remarks were made in the presence of his spouse, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department for Religious Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan. The speech highlighted the importance of intellectual development in public policy and societal progress.
