APC secures multiple overseas streaming deals for new French crime, drama and art series
APC's boutique distributor has landed several international licensing agreements for its upcoming French-language series “Blue Gold,” “Seasons,” and the documentary “An Artful Imbroglio.”
APC Studios’ boutique distributor About Premium Content announced a slate of overseas broadcast contracts for three French-language projects as the Unifrance Rendez-Vous opens in Le Havre. The eight-episode crime drama “Blue Gold,” produced by Authentic Prod for France Télévisions and written by Marie-Anne Le Pezennec and Ludovix Lacroix, will stream on Walter Presents in the United Kingdom and Ireland, RTP in Portugal, Blue Play in Switzerland and U.S. platform MHz Choice.
The four-part series “Seasons,” created by Windy Production for Arte and starring Nicolas Maury and Stéphane Caillard, secured deals with RTP in Portugal, RTBF Auvio in French-speaking Belgium and previously with Canada’s Ici Tou.TV Extra. The three-part documentary “An Artful Imbroglio,” produced for Arte, will be available on Spain’s Filmin and Portugal’s RTP, exploring a 2014 scandal involving counterfeit old-master paintings. The acquisitions expand APC’s reach across Europe and North America ahead of the festival.
