Apple Music rolls out fresh logo, wordmark and custom sound

Apple unveiled a new visual identity for Apple Music, featuring an updated logo, wordmark and a sound track created by Fred Again and Nest Acoustics.

Apple announced a comprehensive rebrand of its Apple Music streaming service, debuting a new logo and refreshed wordmark in a promotional video. The clip illustrates the graphics submerged in water, emphasizing how sound shapes the visual elements. To accompany the visual overhaul, a new audio identity was crafted by British producer Fred Again together with Nest Acoustics.

Early glimpses of the redesign appeared in the iOS 27.2 beta, and Apple expects the updated look to be rolled out to all users within the week. The rollout will likely coincide with the final release of iOS 27.2, following the earlier release candidate. This marks the latest aesthetic refresh for the company's music platform.

Why it matters

The update refreshes Apple Music's brand, signaling continued investment in its streaming service and user experience.
